Capacity building

Convinced that sharing knowledge and experience can help to prevent and fight economic crimes, Sherpa has developed awareness-raising and training activities.

Legal Caravan

DSCN7108The Legal Caravan is a project aimed at strengthening the capacities of African civil society in terms of Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility. The purpose of these training schemes is to make local stakeholders (such as organisations, legal experts, etc.) more aware of their rights and of the possible solutions to the negative impacts of locally operating multinational companies. The training is divided into two steps: one part is dedicated to theory, while the second part is a real case study of rights infringements perpetrated by an economic agent.

In 2012, the Legal Caravan went to Cameroon and Togo.

In 2013, to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to Senegal and Benin, and to Burkina Faso in 2014.

Public interventions

Sherpa offers courses at universities and other higher education establishments, takes part in public events and also organises seminars and round-tables in order to explain the challenges of economic criminality and to make the greatest number of people aware of them.

We will keep you up to date on our actions, through the section Agenda.

You are organising an event, and you would like Sherpa to be there? Feel free to contact us.
