French cosmetics company Yves Rocher facing court proceedings for failure to ensure freedom of association and workers’ rights in Turkey

Sherpa, ActionAid France, the Turkish trade union Petrol-Iş and 34 former employees of a Turkish subsidiary of the Yves Rocher Group have taken the cosmetics company to court. They accuse the French company of having failed to meet its obligations under the French law on the duty of vigilance with regard to the freedom to join a union and workers’ fundamental rights.
